Today I like to show another lovely little diesel. Its the Frog 80. This engine from my growing collection is in superb condition. In fact its 55 years old but in like new condition. Its untouched in all those years. No marks on the screws, a very smooth feeling when turned by hand. It feels almost like a ball bearing version. Also very strong compression with zero play anywhere.
The Frog company made a lot delightful diesels in the past. In my opinion also they made really lovely engine castings too. Lots of attention to details, with superb finishes.
I have 4 frog engines and there are all very well made. Still must run the 3,5 BB diesel engine. And that must be a real screamer. It looks very powerful to me. I hope to run him soon here on my channel. Subscribers are always welcome. Thanks for watching,I hope you like it...and more lovely old engines on my channel!
